A few days ago, I watched a documentary about the Cold War and later while driving to the office, drawing parallels with the present day, I heard a song by Billy Joel that I had never heard before. The song highlights significant events in our history and made me think that we continue with the same routines and mistakes, generation after generation, and that all the catastrophes and conflicts humanity has experienced to date have not been enough for us to change our behavior as supposedly intelligent beings.
